Mark off the day when I wander outside using muddy mole holes for eyewash and write it all down when I no longer sleep but instead drown awake in the dark Put it in sandwiches all that would choke - like gravel-voiced grins from a closet Dry and caloric but far from a meal For my gut is a goner for sure
Gone to bathe in the rain As the sea never drains No tours and No more returns
Hose in the nose til the end of the end No tours and No more returns
Throughout the history of my writing here at dA, when I've been ready to murder or self-destruct due to emotional upset and chemical imbalances, I put "Please shoot me" in the Artists Comments section.
It's a way of logging where my head was at the time the work was created.
I hope writing helps. I hope something helps. February, historically, sucks for me. LAst year I started getting out every weekend to walk the trails, all bundled up. Somehow the fresh air and sunshine helped and it was the easiest Feb ever. Yoga helps, too. Have you tried yoga?
November - October used to be the crippling times. NOW February is becoming the "black hole"... all just a matter of interestingly timed disasters.
Well... you wouldn't believe how many tell me to go take a walk. I have to be dragged, kicking and screaming to do that - cold weather or not.
Yoga, I've done in preparation for theater rehearsals at the producer's urging. He felt it would "get up back in our bodies" so we could gain some focus on our movements and clear our heads of the day and help our memory retention along.
Found out Yoga - 'HOT Yoga' - was a good way to warm up when we were practicing in freezing barns and heat-free lofts.
Some "sunworship" stretches and "downward dogs" stuff.
Yeah. I should really get back to that. (soon as my allergies wane a little otherwise my head will explode)
