I collect paperweights. They sit on my table in front of the window in my new studio, catching the light. This reminds me of them. They are such a little fantasy world, each of them. This is really a neat piece. Is this a drop of water, something in glass?

I always had a love for paper weights - especially the crystal, prism kind.

Always so magical.

This is a 4(?) ounce glass peach jar.
The words are PhotoShop'ped although I tried to make them look like
real life alphabet letters trapped and floating but it was my first shot at something like that.
The thing inside the glass jar is tap water, and
a bamboo-stick with silk thread hanging from it.
Tied like a fishing net, and well... it is what it is.
